<Q: Please elaborate on your language policy.> My retail client does and in design we are constantly changing the policies.
<Q: What makes a good packaging label? What information should be prioritised?> Easy to read and understand. Less is more
<Q: Can you describe your approach, or the approach of your organisation, to supporting/point-of-sale information with regard to plastic packaging?> So this is happening more and more. There is not enough space at times on packaging so you support it with POS.
<Q: Are there any examples of labelling that you are especially proud of? If you aren't involved in design, please tell us about some packaging/labelling that you especially like, and why.> Yes the latest VFC packaging we just designed and the Bake off box. See web sites
<Q: What information would you wish to be included on packaging labels, if e.g. space and branding weren't an issue?> More providence of product and packaging
<Q: Is there anything that you purposely avoid including on packaging labels?> More traffic light systems.
<Q: What do you most want consumers to take away from the text on packaging labels? Is there any messaging that you feel isn't landing with consumers?> Why packaging is needed.
<Q: Do you have any other thoughts or comments you would like to share?> We continue to redesign the future and reduce packaging and of course plastics that cannot be recycled. We need to ensure our councils and government send none of our rubbish abroad, we do not landfill anymore and we reuse and recycle everything else.
